PRC is partnering with PCE to educate the families we serve and our community about the cost savings of clean energy, while also helping low-income families and seniors learn if they are eligible for additional energy discounts through our case management services.

Peninsula Clean Energy is a program launched collaboratively by the County of San Mateo and its cities, including Pacifica. It's providing almost everyone in the county with electricity from cleaner sources, and at 5% lower prices compared to PG&E.
That's about $2/month savings for the average household, and across Pacifica it adds up to about $500,000 a year! We're all still PG&E customers, too; PG&E continues to maintain the wires, provide natural gas, and handle billing. Most Pacificans have already had this benefit for about a year now, though you may not realize it.
