This year, we completed a new strategic plan which included interviews with nearly 50 supporters, community partners, volunteers, and clients. Our strategic plan confirms the trend we are seeing – more Pacificans could use our support; they just do not realize they are eligible for our services. For example, 1 in 10 Pacifica households earned less than $25,000 and nearly 2 in 5 Pacifica families earned less than $105,000 - the US Department of Housing's low-income threshold for a family of 4 (source: U.S. Census Bureau's 2011-2015 American Community Survey). In 2018, we will be testing new ways to offer our services to reach more Pacifica families in need and better serve our community.
