Holiday Joy Program

The holidays are just around the corner.

Please join us for our 2023 Holiday Joy program.

PRC matches families with Holiday Helpers who purchase gifts to help create a more joyful holiday season.

A guide for PRC’s Holiday Joy program:

  • Pacifica families with children 17 and under sign up with PRC by writing a letter that describes their interest, hobbies, and what they would like as their family gift.

  • Sponsors use these letters to guide their gift purchases and bring wrapped gifts and/or gift cards to PRC by Wednesday, December 13, 2023.

  • When PRC families pick up gifts, the family will write an immediate thank you. Then, after the holidays, each child writes a thank you letter about the specific items they received.


For Pacifica Families needing support for the holidays

  • Child(ren) in your family must be 17 or under.

  • Each child in the program must write their own personal letter to our sponsors sharing their interests, hobbies, and what they would like for the holidays.

  • Each child in the program must write &/or draw their own thank you letter after the holidays to your sponsors. Disabled children or children younger than 6 years old can dictate their letters to you.

To help you decide the number of children you want to sponsor, please plan to spend at least $125 per child for gifts, $50 for a family gift, and $75 grocery gift card. 

Call PRC when you know the size of the family you wish to support for the holidays and we will match you ASAP. We are in the process of signing up families now, so there may be a time lag between your request and the match. Our goal is to give you details about your family by Thanksgiving.
