Back to School

Last year, Pacifica Resource Center helped prepare 154 low-income Pacifica children for the new school year with backpacks and grade-specific school supplies. This year, we invite you to support our 2017 Back to School with a gift of backpacks and school supplies.

Pacifica Resource Center supports the economic security of low-income Pacifica families and individuals by providing a safety net of food, housing assistance, and other critical services, including coaching, advocacy, information, and referral. As part of this work, our Back to School program helps our families use their limited incomes to stay housed and feed their families, instead of sacrificing food and rent money to prepare their children for school. And, when children have food and shelter and can go to school with the supplies they need, they have the tools to succeed academically.

To contribute, order from our Amazon Wishlist by August 1st with a delivery date by Thursday, August 3rd 2017. If you wish to buy items in person, you may drop off donations by 12pm Friday, August 4th 2017.


As of today, we still need 23 more backpacks, preferably the following option in black, available at your local Costco.
